Travel tips: Obscure items to pack that make life (and traveling) easier

I recently signed up for Budget Travel’s e-updates, and I read an article by Sam O’Neill that I absolutely LOVED: “8 Items You Never Pack…But Should.” Especially with our upcoming expedition to Bulgaria/Romania, this article’s timing was impeccable, just as I’m about to packing in earnest. My favorite tip was having the Belkin surge protector (with USB chargers) on hand when I forget to charge my phone and computer and I can only get one outlet in the airport. I promptly ordered the item on Amazon.com, which you can find by clicking here.
