Green Tea Spotlight: Boulder Blues
As opposed to yesterday’s Organic Chemistry roast, I want to post about something today that makes me incredible happy: Boulder Blues Green Tea. Made and distrubuted by the Boulder, Colorado-based The Tea Spot, Boulder Blues is an amazing loose-leaf green tea that proves to keep my taste-buds happy and my spirits lifted throughout the day. (And no, they are not paying me to say this.)
As The Tea Spot’s best selling green tea, Boulder Blues is a blend of fine Japanese Sencha and high grade Chinese Dragonwell, infused with wild strawberries and rhubarb flavors for a subtle twist. It’s the best when brewed as an iced-tea, and I’ve found it to be perfect for that mid-morning, mid-afternoon, or mid-evening slump when you need a pick-me-up without the bloat of a soda, or the drain of alcohol. Short, simple and sweet.
