Tara & Tyler’s Midwest Wedding—a study in classic simplicity
If we’re friends on Facebook, you might have seen some of the pictures I posted from the wedding I attended this past weekend. It was—simply put—a lovely day to get married in the midwest. Although the winds were blowing, my dear friend, Tara and her, now husband, Tyler put together an event that was simple with classic colors, flowing wine, and excellent company. I brought along our fancy-pants camera and snapped photos throughout the day—what an honor it was to see their day close up!
Tara purchased most of her accessories from Etsy, including this glamorous belt.
This is Tara right before seeing Tyler for the “first look.” That’s what it’s called when the bride and groom opt to see each other before the wedding.
What you can’t see in this picture is me, behind the camera, bawling my eyes out because this was the most touching moment EVER! Everyone was tearing up watching, but I had an up-close view, which is why I think I got extra emotional.
This is my favorite photo of the bunch… the look on Tara’s face shows pure joy.
I thought this was such a cute idea. Both my husband (Sean) and Laura’s husband (Mike) couldn’t make it to the wedding, so Tara took photos from Laura and my weddings and placed these frames at our table setting for dinner. Such a thoughtful idea!
Congrats T & T!
